Bourneville

Bournville came to Holbrook after finding himself unwanted, but he quickly found purpose and companionship here as a friend to Molly, one of our long-time residents. While he may be a little shy by nature, Bournville has settled in well and quietly watches over everything that goes on around the sanctuary.

He prefers his own space and isn’t one for the spotlight, but that doesn’t mean he misses a thing. Whether volunteers are mucking out, feeding the animals, or just chatting nearby, Bournville can usually be found standing off to the side, keeping a calm and watchful eye on the day’s activities.

Though he’s not the cuddliest member of the flock, we respect Bournville for exactly who he is. He reminds us that every animal has their own way of connecting—and that quiet presence can be just as meaningful as loud affection.
