Personality - Bear needs to find his forever home through no fault with him but with the owners' personal circumstances. He is good with dogs and cats but does have a tendency to nip as he can be overprotective of his human. He can be nervous initially and will need lots of patience and reassurance.

Suitable Home - Because of his possessiveness, he needs an experienced owner that can ensure that this is dissipated and can manage to redirect this into positive behaviour. He has not lived with a companion dog but this would be a bonus or daily contact with other dogs so that he can have some interaction with them. He is a loyal dog and recall is there but he can get distracted. He can bark at deliveries to the door but this is to be expected? We believe that Bear will benefit from a firm and consistent approach and as much exposure to the outside world as possible to enable him to behave well in every situation.

Additional Information - Bear is neutered and vaccinations are up to date.
