What will you be doing?
All volunteers walking dogs must have submitted a successful application, completed the induction, be over 25 years old and have provided valid photo ID.
Dog walking can be a very rewarding experience for both you and the dog; Letting them explore new locations with new people can really help our dogs with their confidence and socialisation... plus they love to receive some 1-2-1 attention and fuss!

It is possible to take the dogs on a short car journey providing you have adequate equipment to transport them safely.

A shift lead will inform you of any behavioural concerns about your assigned dog, such as being strong on the lead or fearful of other dogs. If you feel uncomfortable walking a particular dog, please let us know - We want to ensure a positive experience for both you and the dog.

Booking a walk is done by emailing holbrookanimalrescue@outlook.com, giving as much notice as possible. Please do not arrive at Holbrook without a confirmed appointment.

Dog walkers can collect a dog at 10:40 and return them at 12:30 - Holbrook works to a regular daily routine, so these times must be adhered to for the smooth running of the centre.
