Personality - Bella is a lovely, friendly dog who just loves to cuddle! She is very active and quite excitable and although she loves everyone, children need to be ready for her exuberance!

Suitable Home - Bella needs a new home due to owner's circumstances. She will make a fabulous companion and would like her new owners to be at home the majority of the time. She can be a little needy and will need an experienced owner that can continue with building her confidence so that she can be left for short periods. For this reason, she will need a confident and compatible companion dog. She will need a large garden and two substantial walks each day. She needs ongoing training with recall and her predisposition to escape from the house!

Personality - Prince is extremely loving, intelligent and active! He needs a new forever home because his family have experienced a change in circumstances, and he would now like to find a home of his own. He really enjoys being around people and particularly going on his walks where his recall is good.

Suitable Home - Prince needs a home with an experienced owner that can be with him the majority of the time. He will need lots of interesting walks and mental stimulation throughout the day and ongoing training with his boyish manners. Prince would also love a large garden and at best, a rural setting! He will benefit greatly from a companion dog but applications will be considered if it is clear that he will be able to have lots of interaction with other dogs.

Personality - Bailey and Bentley are brothers who have an infectious amount of energy! They can initially be a little wary of strangers but are easily won over with a little patience (and some tasty treats.) Bentley is a little more nervous than his brother and will need a home able to give him reassurance and guidance. They really enjoy going on walks together and are both great in the car. Being a cockapoo both boys also have very intelligent and active minds.

Suitable Home - We would love to find these boys a home together! Their new owners would need to have experience and be able to ensure all of their exercise needs are met as they love their walks. They haven't been tested around cats and need to be homed with children over the age of 15 due to Bentley being nervous which sometimes leads to him reacting on this.

Additional Information: Both dogs have been neutered and their vaccinations are up to date.

Personality - Tilly is a very loving and gentle dog that is currently struggling with what is unknown to her and she needs lots of encouragement and support to gain confidence. She is a loyal dog and her recall is going to be easy to maintain.

Suitable Home - Tilly needs a confident companion dog and experienced owners that are at home the majority of the time to be able to give her the mental stimulation she needs. A rural setting would be ideal and a large secure garden. She is very good with children providing this environment does not impose too many challenges for her to take on board, but she has not been tested around cats.

Additional Information - Tilly will need neutering when appropriate and her vaccinations are up to date.

Personality - Polly has been rescued and hand reared and she is a very loving and loyal dog. She does lack confidence and worries when left, and is very loyal to her Owner. Polly loves to play and she is very energetic as her breed would suggest. She can bark and pull on lead when she sees other dogs but behaves beautifully in doggy day care so with training this is certain to improve.

Suitable Home - Polly will be looking for a home with a confident and playful young companion dog alongside lots of exercise. Her forever owners will need to be at home and have the time needed to put into her ongoing development. She will need a large garden and two interesting walks each day, and it does need to be a cat free home.

Additional Information - Polly will need to be neutered when appropriate, and her vaccinations are in place.

Personality - Hayley is a sublime little character who needs a new home because her owner has a very debilitating allergy. She has a lovely, friendly nature and is really enjoying the company of all the dogs and the volunteers. Hayley is extremely active and is already showing signs of thriving from scent training. She is very loyal and already off lead on her walks. She has lived with children but they need to be older and very dog savvy as she is very strong and boisterous.

Suitable Home - Hayley needs an experienced, patient and strong owner that is at home the majority of the time and prepared to put in the work to bring the full potential out in this lovely girl. A rural location and large garden and two extensive and interesting walks each day as she grows are necessary She will need a compatible companion dog; i.e. young, strong and very playful.

Additional Information - Hayley will need to be neutered at the appropriate time. Her vaccinations are in place.

Personality - Chewie has been enjoying a new found freedom at Holbrook and is loving life! He can be a little wary of people initially but it doesn't take much effort to gain his trust and then he is very loyal. He is great with other dogs and shows no behavioural problems at Holbrook. However, unless his needs are met, he can be frustrated and this manifests in territorial guarding.

Suitable Home - Chewie will need an experienced owner that can commit the time to bring him to his full potential by being at home with him the majority of the time and providing a stimulating and educational environment. He lacks confidence and will need a companion dog to help him with this and will need two substantial and interesting walks each day and a large garden where he can play and relax.

Additional Information - Chewie is neutered and will be fully vaccinated.

Personality - Harry is a very busy little man! He is very good with people and pretty bomb proof with anything he comes across in the environment He can be a little selective with his doggy friends but in the main gets on very well with all of the dogs at Holbrook. He loves his walks and his recall is still a work in progress.

Suitable Home - Harry would like a bustling lifestyle with owners that can be with him the majority of the time and give him lots of lovely walks. We are unaware of his background and children will need to be very mature and used to dogs. A rural setting would be ideal but a minimum of a large garden and a compatible companion dog or the ability to socialise with other dogs on a daily basis.

Additional Information - Harry has been neutered and vaccinations are in place.

Personality - Ruby is a very active dog that thrives on exercise and stimulation. She is fine with other dogs but needs her space to give her confidence with them. She is very good with people although a little nervous about visitors to the house. Ruby is a little possessive with her food and so ongoing training is needed.

Suitable Home - Ruby needs a new home due to owners' circumstances and her new humans should be experienced with collies and have the time to devote to her further development. She will need a large garden; at best a rural environment; and two interesting and fun walks each day. She will benefit from a companion dog or the possibility to interact with them each day.

Additional Information: Ruby is neutered and her vaccinations are up to date.

Personality - Kenny is an affectionate dog that loves life and needs lots of exercise. He is good with dogs and recall is a work in progress but he is a very loyal dog who loves nothing more than playing with his ball.
He is a little nervous initially when meeting new people but fine with the appropriate introductions.

Suitable Home - Kenny needs an experienced owner with a great deal of energy and time to spend with Kenny. He will need lots of stimulating exercise and a large garden in a rural environment. A young and fit companion dog would be ideal for him but if he can meet and play with other dogs on a daily basis this may be considered.

Additional Information - Kenny is not a Holbrook dog but we are supporting the owner with help to find the best possible home for him.

Personality - Lola has no problems to iron out; she is very loving and a proper cuddle bunny. Unfortunately her humans find themselves in changed circumstances and she needs to find a new home. Lola is very good with other dogs but her recall has not been established.

Suitable Home - Lola manages best with a male companion dog or the possibility of socialising with other dogs on a daily basis if she is to be the only dog in the home. Despite her seniority; Lola is a very fit and healthy dog that enjoy two good walks each day and a large garden of her own. She would like her owners to be able to keep her company the majority of the day.

Personality - Nella is a little timid initially but a bundle of fun and lots of energy! She loves playing fetch and is so enjoying being around the other dogs at Holbrook. Nella walks nicely on the lead and her recall will definitely get there. She has no personality problems that need attention, but is a young dog who needs ongoing training to make her the best adult dog she can be.

Suitable Home - Nella would love an experienced person with lots of time to give her and a very playful companion dog. She will need plenty of exercise and a good sized garden for her to get out her zoomies! Nella does unfortunately get overexcited around cats and will chase them so it needs to be a cat free home and with children over the age of 10.
