Personality – Rusty is somewhat of a celebrity as he lived the precarious life of a stray
traversing a busy roundabout in Horsham in search of food. He was caught in Horsham Tip
and has been living in a foster home since his capture in May.

Rusty is an extremely loving cat and as you can see from the photos, likes nothing more than
a cuddle or sitting on a comfortable lap and soaking up all the TLC he can get!! His foster
Mum says that she call’s him the Velcro cat as he loves to be by your side and is very
attentive listening to your every word and even talking back. He is quite a playful boy and
has a good appetite.

Suitable Home – Unfortunately, Rusty is FIV positive, but at present not showing any
symptoms or needing any medication. It is contagious, so he would need to be the only cat
and an indoor one too, but maybe with a catio (which Holbrook can help fund). We
understand that this is a big ask and acknowledge that finding a home for Rusty will be
difficult, but with the right environment, FIV cats can still live long, comfortable, happy lives.
