Personality – Joe is an incredibly affectionate cat who, as you can see from his photos, adores cuddles and loves nothing more than curling up on a comfortable lap to soak up all the TLC he can get. Despite his age, he’s still quite lively and enjoys his food.

Suitable Home – Joe has Calicivirus, though he currently shows no symptoms and doesn’t require any medication. Because the virus is contagious, he will need to be the sole cat in the home. Joe previously lived with another cat, who recently died, and so he is looking for a new retirement home where can he receive plenty of human companionship.

We know this is a big ask and that finding the right home for Joe may be challenging, but with the proper environment, cats with Calicivirus can enjoy long, happy, and comfortable lives—just as Joe’s previous companion did.
