The other side of Laura Santini

Updated: Aug 20, 2020

Laura Santini is the founder and owner of Holbrook Animal Rescue. She’s dedicated her life to rescuing and rehoming abandoned animals. But Laura has another side to her, she is a talented artist. She studied at St Martin's School of Art in London and for many years painting was her hobby. In recent years Laura has gained more recognition and been invited to exhibit her work at some prestigious art fairs including one in Chester. She also has her own art gallery: The Purple Panda Gallery and displays her latest paintings in her studio at The Arts, Crafts and Antiques Market in Arundel.

Laura says that painting is a counterpoint to her hectic lifestyle and allows her some time to relax and express herself. Working in watercolour, acrylics and oils, she is inspired by the environment and produces beautiful seascapes. More recently Laura has been experimenting with a new technique, using acrylics and producing modern, abstract art, sometimes adding a resin finish.

Watch this space as we plan to auction one of Laura’s new paintings in the near future.
