Dogs - Although Thelma gets on well with the majority of the dogs at Holbrook she values her time with people much more therefore we feel Thelma would like to be an only dog to receive all the love and attention in the home.

Cats - We have been told Thelma is cat friendly however we have not had the opportunity to test Thelma with cats at Holbrook.

Children- Thelma has a lovely nature but we do not know her history with children therefore we recommend dog respectful children age 12+ however each application will be viewed individually.

Personality- Thelma is a real people’s dog, she loves to be with the volunteers and is always one of the first to greet them when they arrive at Holbrook. Thelma gets on well with most of the dogs at Holbrook but can sometimes find the business a little too much. She walks well on lead and enjoys being the centre of attention and is first in the queue for cuddles and affection.

Suitable home - Thelma will need someone home most of the time to help her settle. Her new family must be willing to include Thelma in their family activities and be willing to continue her training. Thelma’s new home will need a nice size garden for her explore.

Thelma already joins the group walk and walks well on lead.
