Star & Toffee - To Be Homed Together

Star – Age approximately 3 years old
Toffee – Age approximately 2.5 years old
Dogs – To be homed together
Cats – Star is not cat tested, Toffee is ok with cats
Children – Older dog respectful children

Dogs – Star and Toffee get on well with the other dogs at Holbrook, they have a lovely nature about them and spend’s much of their time playing together, gaining confidence from one another. Although Star and Toffee are not dependent on each other they have a strong bond therefore we would like to see them homed together

Cats – Star is not cat tested but we have been told that Toffee is ok with cats.

Children – Star and Toffee both have lovely personalities however Star is a larger, bouncy dog and we do not know either dogs history with children therefore we suggest older, dog respectful children. Each application will be viewed individually.

Personality – Star and Toffee are all about fun, they love to play with the other dogs and they interact well with the volunteers. Star and Toffee are also busy dogs that like to be in the mix of things and would not suit a home looking for quiet, low energy dogs. Star and Toffee are both food motivated which will aid training their her new home.

Suitable home – Star and Toffee will need someone home much of the time to help them settle. They walk well on lead however they will need continued training in lead walking. We would like Star and Toffee homed with a family that have experience with and enjoys training dogs. Star and Toffee love to run and explore so they will need a good sized garden that is fully secure. Stars and Toffee’s new family will need to be active and enjoy the outdoors, involving both dogs in much of their daily routine.

Additional Information
Star and Toffee both join the group walk and enjoy off lead (secure field) runs. Their new family will need to be committed to their continued training to help them both become the very best that they can.
