Personality – Shadow is the most beautiful natured dog that you could ever hope to meet . She is so sweet, loving and loyal. She is friendly to all people – young and old! She absolutely loves her tummy rubbed and regularly rolls over asking for a rub! Off the lead she is friendly to other dog although on the lead and in enclosed spaces she can be reactive. If a puppy or young dog wants to play she will give them a warning growl to tell them to leave her alone! Shadow is a very obedient girl with near perfect recall! Suitable home – We are looking for a home with experience with this breed of dog! Shadow is looking for a quiet home where she can spend her retirement. She needs a home with someone at home the majority of the day – she does not like being left on her own, so this would need to be worked on! Shadow would be suited as an only dog! Shadow only require 2 x half hr walks per day and be allowed to potter round the garden as she pleases! As she chases cats, it needs to be a cat free home! Additional Information – Shadow has fluctuating pain in her hips, elbows and shoulders which is controlled with painkillers when needed. She has mild thyroid trouble which means it’s difficult to get the weight off of her! She has a sensitive tummy and is allergic to wheat and cereals.
