Blizzard

Blizzard – Age approximately 5
Dogs – Can be homed with a companion dog or as an only dog
Cats – Not cat tested
Children – Older dog respectful children

Dogs – Blizzard gets on well with all the dogs at Holbrook but he is just as happy in the company of the volunteers therefore we feel Blizzard can be homed as an only dog or with a companion dog. If homed as an only dog he will need regular interaction and socialization with other dogs.

Cats – Blizzard has not been tested with cats therefore we do not know how he will react to them

Children – Blizzard has a lovely nature about him but we do not know his history around children, for this reason we recommend older, dog respectful children and each application will be looked at individually.

Personality – Blizzard is a happy, confident dog that likes to be in the mix of things. He adores being fussed and is also described as not backwards in coming forward. Blizzard is good with other dogs that he meets and has been around puppies with no issues. He has a laid back but inquisitive nature and will enjoy lots of new experiences with his forever family.

Suitable home – Blizzard, as with any adopted dog will need someone home much of the time to help him settle. He enjoys his walks and likes to run in the paddock at Holbrook so a good sized, secure garden would be ideal for him. Blizzard will need continued training to help him become the very best that he can so his new family will need to have the time and interest to continue with this.

Additional Information – Blizzard already joins the group walk and although he walks well on lead he can pull a little so he will also need some training in this area. He is not off lead yet so recall will need to be trained in his new home. Blizzard has the most wonderful coat that will need regular grooming.
